Suite Door

This door into the basement suite of the house sure was a chore to get done, but from demolishing the concrete to installing the new door, I enjoyed every minute of it.

This is the re-structured header above the opening to carry the load.

Here is the initial phase of breaking through the concrete.

Here you can see the rough cut concrete for the opening with the new framing in place.

Hey, it doesn't look too bad all cleaned up! ;)
